Greeting TTRPGers. We're getting close! Only about $800 USD to go. Then we can reveal the stretch goals.

4th Adventure Book

Lost in Feyland will be our fourth adventure for 5E and other fantasy TTRPGs. Rise of the Mushroom King and The Fall of Rivenhelm were already published this year, and Ghosts of Wrath is almost done.

Feyland Bulletin #4

The Great Tree is found near the center of Feyland. This region is home to the good Seelie Court. King Oberon and Queen Titania are based here with the leaders of the Summer and Spring Courts. They have an army of centaurs and fauns, as well as a unique collection of characters in court. However, there are also spies from the evil Unseelie Court.

Greetings, thanks for coming on this journey. We're preparing to run a D&D game as well as working on this Backerkit campaign. Game night here at the office is a perfect opportunity to playtest some ideas. Tonight, the 7th-level party is heading into the mountains and the Hold of Balgor in our World of Myrr setting.

Lost in Feyland is now 79% funded with 16 days to go!

Feyland Bulletin #3: One of the most unusual regions in Feyland is the Sugarwind Mountains. Some of its floating islands are actually living creatures. And several arch fey have strongholds in this isolated region. Many of the fey in the mountains are winged and able to get around with ease. There are also elementals and other types of monsters that make it a dangerous place to travel through.

This is also where giants live in Feyland. The Mountain Lord and his rock giants, mist giants, ogres, the Ogre King, and other giants live here. They aren't loyal to either court and have their own agenda.

Hey everyone, a quick update from our smoky headquarters. Forest fire smoke has blanketed Vancouver this week. Lots of inspiration to create a moody, mysterious world.

The campaign is now 76% funded with 18 days to go! Today, we have more lore for you.

Feyland Bulletin #2: One of the largest regions in Feyland is Everwood. It borders the elf homeland of Naern in the World of Myrr. You can actually walk through the woods in Naern into Everwood. There are also portals to other parts of the multiverse.

The dense forest is home to numerous creatures, settlements, and strongholds. Most of the region is under the control of the good Seelie Court. However, there are some areas where the Unseelie court is active, and there are dangerous monsters. This is where the heroes will find themselves early in the adventure.

As the adventure continues, the adventurers' main goal will be to find a way home. They could also seek out Lord Bronzeleaf and uncover the mystery of the Egg of the Jabberwock. We'll give you details about the terrain, settlements, strongholds, and encounters in these woods. So you can follow the main story or create your own adventure or campaign.

Great start! 69% funded after the first two days.

Greetings! Welcome to our new backers. We're off to a solid start after a couple of days. A new poll has been attached to this update, and you can have your say. We're also beginning a new feature called the Feyland Bulletin, in which we'll discuss lore about Feyland.

Feyland Bulletin #1

Our Feyland is inspired by many sources, including folklore. Here is a graphic showing our first version of the Seelie and Unseelie Courts from Monsters of Feyland. Since then, we have expanded upon the courts with Monsters of Feyland 2.

Originally, we were influenced by European folklore about faeries and their courts. The idea of the four seasons also struck us as a great structure to build the world around. Fey and nature go together; why not delve into that deeply? So we used some traditional characters like Oberon, Titania, and the Queen of Darkness. Then we added our own flair to the world. Usually, Titania rules her court; instead, we wanted a balance of male and female in the good court. So she and Oberon share the throne. We also added a strong male presence in the Oak Lord and our version of a lady of the lake archetype with the Lady of the Swans. Then we were inspired by Tim Burton's films to have a Skeleton King character as part of the evil court. We also took inspiration from the archetype of the Snow Queen to create an entire Winter Court family.

The Seelie Court is mostly made up of good fey, although there are some neutral and evil fey who are part of it. And chaotic good characters aren't always the easiest to deal with. The Unseelie Court is mostly made up of evil fey, but again, there are a few neutral and good fey. And these courts are always changing, with some fey even betraying one side and joining the other.
